What to do in the event of a potential home claim

1. If an emergency, call 911 immediately
2. Shut off water if needed
3. Mediate all damages to prevent further damage from occurring
4. Call one of our preferred vendors to assess the damage and determine if the damage exceeds your deductible
5. If the damage significantly exceeds your deductible, you may either call your Ward Insurance service team to discuss further or call your carrier directly to begin the claims process.

What to do in the event of a potential auto claim

1. Move to a safe area if possible
2. Immediately call for medical help if someone is injured
3. Call the police if not on private property
4. Exchange information with all other parties involved including:
1. Full name and policy number
2. Start and end date of policy
3. Date and time of incident
4. Complete contact info of all drivers, passengers and witnesses
5. Driver’s license and license plate numbers of all drivers involved
5. Document the scene, take photos or videos with phone if available
6. Contact the Ward Insurance service department and your specific carrier to discuss the claim
